Who pays
Students under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent to use Orblite at all — free or paid — and that consent is collected at signup, separately from any payment. If a family later upgrades, the payment step goes to the guardian already on the account.
Cancelling
Cancel any time. Premium continues to the end of the paid period, then the account returns to Free with its full history intact — nothing is deleted, and nothing locks that wasn't already locked before upgrading. Deleting an account entirely is a separate, immediate action in Settings.
What is never gated
Crisis support, stress conversations and grade recovery are identical on both tiers, and always will be. So is the Positioning Score: a free student's score runs on the same model and the same rubric as a paying student's. Tier differences are about volume and capability, never about quality of judgment.
